Disclosed are an electronic device and a method for transmitting content of the electronic device. The method for transmitting content of the electronic device may include: an operation for displaying an execution screen of a message application; an operation for receiving a first input signal for selecting identification information about content to be transmitted through the message application to an external device; an operation for determining, in response to the reception of the first input signal, the number of segments into which the content is to be segmented, on the basis of the size of the content and the maximum attachment size of the message application; an operation for displaying at least one thumbnail representing the content and at least one indicator including information about the segmentation of the content; an operation for receiving a second input signal that requests transmission of the content; and an operation for transmitting at least a portion of the content that has been segmented to the external device in response to the reception of the second input signal.

An electronic device includes a communication device, a camera device, a display device, a processor, and a memory connected to the processor. The memory stores instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to identify, when information on a shared object based on augmented reality is received from an external electronic device through the communication device, a first location of the shared object included in the information, identify whether the first location is included within a camera view distance and a camera direction of the camera device, generate reception information of the shared object in a specified type for each condition in which the first location is included in a range of at least one of the camera view distance or the camera direction using a second location of the electronic device as a reference point, and output an augmented reality image obtained by merging the generated reception information with a real image obtained from the camera device to the display device.

Various embodiments of the disclosure provide a method and apparatus for providing a vibration in an electronic device. According to various embodiments of the disclosure, an electronic device may include a memory including instructions stored therein, and at least one processor, wherein the at least one processor coupled to the memory is configured to execute the stored instructions for detecting an event for a user's input related to a direction, identifying a vibration pattern having directivity, in response to the detected event, and providing a vibration having directivity by driving the one or more vibration devices, based on the vibration pattern.

In an electronic device for providing time information and an operation method of the electronic device according to various embodiments, the electronic device includes: a display which displays first time information and second time information; an actuator which outputs vibrations respectively corresponding to the first time information and the second time information; and a processor, wherein the processor can be configured to: check the starting position of a user input in response to sensing the start of the user input on the display; determine, on the basis of the start position, a first region that corresponds to the first time information and a second region that corresponds to the second time information; and control the actuator so that a first vibration that indicates the first time information is output in response to the sensing of a user input in the first region, and a second vibration that indicates the second time information is output in response to the sensing of a user input in the second region.
