An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a communication module, a memory configured to store multiple recognition algorithms for analyzing user activities, and a processor configured to acquire activity schedule information related to a user activity; select at least one recognition algorithm among the multiple recognition algorithms, at least based on the acquired activity schedule information; and analyze activity information related to the user activity, using the at least one recognition algorithm, thereby providing activity guide information related to the user activity.
Abstract:
An electronic device and method are disclosed. The electronic device includes a secure element, a sensor module, a wireless communication module, a memory and processor. The processor implements the method, including receiving a signal from an external electronic device via the wireless communication module, determining identity information utilized for a service provided by an external electronic device, based on the received signal, authenticating a user using user authentication information received via the sensor module, based on successful authentication of the user, retrieving the identity information from a digital identification (ID) stored in the secure element, and transmitting the retrieved identify information to an authentication server, receiving an authentication confirmation for the identity information from the authentication server, and transmitting the authentication information to the external electronic device.

An electronic device is provided, which includes a first housing and a second housing, a first sensor, a second sensor, a display, a first processor, and a second processor. The first processor is configured to obtain, via the first sensor, first information about movement of the electronic device, obtain, via the second sensor, second information about the movement of the electronic device, determine a type of the movement of the electronic device based on the first information and/or the second information, determine an arrangement state of the electronic device, based on a comparison of the first information and the second information, and control the second processor based on the determined type of the movement and the determined arrangement state of the electronic device. The second processor is configured to perform a specified operation based on the command.

An electronic device includes a housing including a front plate, a rear plate, and a side member; a display having a first surface visible through the front plate; an inertial sensor; a proximity sensor disposed on a second surface of the display; a processor; and a memory. The memory may store instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to determine a user's posture through the inertial sensor, in response to activation of a specific application using a function of the proximity sensor; determine a movement of the electronic device through the inertial sensor; determine the user's intent to use the display, based on the user's posture and the movement of the electronic device; and determine a configuration value of the proximity sensor, based on the determined intent to use the display.

An electronic device, server and method are disclosed. The electronic device includes a communication module, memory, and a processor. The processor implements one method, including executing authentication and registering of an external electronic device as a sharing target, receiving a selection of at least one service to be shared with the external electronic device, encrypting data including an user identification (ID) and a password associated with the at least one service in response to the selection, transmitting a request for sharing the encrypted data to a server through the communication module to allow the external electronic device to use the at least one service without exposure of the ID and the password, receiving a response to the transmitted request from the server through the communication module, and generating a notification indicating whether the ID and the password are successfully shared for the selected at least one service, based on the received response.

An electronic device and a method of operating an electronic device are provided. The electronic device includes a display; a motion sensor; and a processor, wherein the processor is configured to determine a first state associated with a user using the motion sensor while performing a call mode; if a predefined state is detected from the first state, configure an algorithm for determining a second state, based on the first state; determine the second state using the motion sensor, based on the configured algorithm; and control the operation of the display, based on a result of determining the second state.
