Abstract: An apparatus and a method for providing a Long Term Evolution (LTE) service in an electronic device are provided. A method for operating an electronic device includes connecting to a first network, when being connected to the first network, receiving incoming call information of a second network, obtaining caller identification information of the incoming call information of the second network, and determining whether to connect a call based on the caller identification information.
