Abstract:
According to various embodiments of the disclosure, an electronic device and a method of executing a function of the electronic device comprise at least one communication circuit, a speaker, a microphone, at least one processor operatively connected with the communication circuit, the speaker, and the microphone, and a memory operatively connected with the at least one processor, wherein the memory stores instructions which, when executed by the at least one processor cause the electronic device to: perform a call with a first external electronic device through the communication circuit, activate a voice-based intelligent service while the call is performed, identify a voice input through the microphone while the call is performed, and transmit data associated with the voice input to an external server through the communication circuit at least in part for automatic speech recognition (ASR) and/or natural language understanding (NLU).
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method for recognizing a rotation of a rotating body and an electronic device for processing the same. The electronic device may include a housing; a rotatable input configured to be mounted on a part of the housing; a display configured to be exposed out of a part of the housing; a memory; and a processor electrically connected to the memory, the input, and the display, wherein the memory may store instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to display, on the display, at least one part of a user interface including a first point capable of scrolling an object and/or a number in proportion to a rotation of the input; to at least partially respond to a first input from the input or the display and to display, on the display, a second point spaced by a predetermined distance or angle from the first point; and to move the object to the second point or to display, on the display, a corresponding number at the second point, in response to the rotation of the input in a state of displaying the second point.
Abstract:
An electronic device that provides user experience for controlling at least one ultra-wideband (UWB) device, and a control method are provided. The electronic device includes at least one antenna, a touch screen display, memory storing one or more computer programs, and one or more processors communicatively coupled to the at least one antenna, the memory, and the touchscreen display, wherein the one or more computer programs include computer-executable instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the electronic device to receive an ultra-wideband (UWB) signal from an external electronic device through the at least one antenna, in response to reception of the UWB signal, compute an orientation angle of the electronic device with respect to the external electronic device, a distance between the external electronic device and the electronic device, and an orientation time, when each of the calculated orientation angle, the distance, and the orientation time satisfies a first predesignated criterion, display a user interface corresponding to the external electronic device, and when any one of the calculated orientation angle, the distance, and the orientation time does not satisfy the first criterion, display a user interface corresponding to the external electronic device.
Abstract:
An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes at least one communication module, and a processor. The processor may be configured to select an external device supporting a directional communication scheme. The processor may be configured to acquire a first identifier of the selected external device through at least one of the at least one communication module. The processor may be configured to configure action information and authentication information. The processor may be configured to transmit authentication data generated based on the first identifier, the action information, and the authentication information to the external device through at least one of the at least one communication module.
Abstract:
An electronic device according to various embodiments of the present invention comprises: a display; a communication circuit; a processor electrically connected with the display and the communication circuit; and a memory electrically connected with the processor, wherein when instructions, which can be included by the memory, are executed, the processor acquires message data received through a communication circuit and confirms attribute information included in the message data and, resulting from the confirmation, the display displays first text data for a first time if the text data included in the message data is first text data inputted from a touch screen of an external electronic device, and the display displays second text data for a second time different from the first time if the text data included in the message data is second text data converted from voice data.
Abstract:
An electronic device, comprising: a rotary input module; a display; a memory; and at least one processor operatively coupled to the memory, configured to: detect a rotary input via the rotary input module; generate second information associated a first information that is displayed on the display; display the first information and the second information on the display; and change at least some of the first information and the second information based on the rotary input, and displaying the same.
