Abstract: Electronic device including display; memory storing instructions; and one or more processors configured to execute stored instructions to identify event for enabling display; in response to identification of event, identify, based on display setting, whether timing of identification of event is within first time period of a day or second time period of the day; in response to identifying that timing of the identification of the event is within the first time period of the day, control the display to display a first color through the display enabled by the event, based on the display setting; and in response to identifying that the timing of the identification of the event is within the second time period of the day, control the display to display a second color representing a temperature lower than a temperature of the first color through the display enabled by the event, based on the display setting.
