Abstract: A method for controlling a home appliance including a motor is provided. The control method includes acquiring, from another appliance, operating frequency information on a motor included in the another home appliance, identifying an operating frequency of the motor of the home appliance which differs from an operating frequency of the motor of the another home appliance based on the acquired operating frequency information, and controlling an operation of the motor of the home appliance based on the identified operating frequency.
