Abstract: A system, an apparatus, and a method for connecting short distance communication, which recognize a sufficiently close particular terminal so as to perform a short distance communication connection with low power consumption, are provided. The system includes a server terminal which broadcasts an action frame for a proximity connection for a first predetermined time when a proximity connection function is set, and a client terminal which checks for reception of the action frame for a second predetermined time when the proximity connection function is set and performs a short distance communication connection with the server terminal when an Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) value of the received action frame is equal to or greater than a threshold.
