Abstract: A method for operating an electronic device is provided, including: obtaining music information associated with music that is being played by the electronic device; and outputting a visual effect through a display of the electronic device based on the music information. According to another aspect of the disclosure, an electronic device is provided including a display and a processor configured to: obtain music information associated with music that is being played by the electronic device; and output a visual effect through the display based on the music information.
