Abstract: A wearable electronic device is provided. The wearable electronic device includes a housing formed to be worn on a body, at least one sensor, a communication module, a display, and at least one processor operatively connected to the at least one sensor, the communication module, and the display, and the at least one processor may be configured to obtain state information related to a plurality of Internet of things (IoT) devices through the communication module from an electronic device connected to the plurality of IoT devices through wireless communication, obtain sensor data by using the at least one sensor, identify a candidate function providable by at least one IoT device among the plurality of IoT devices based on the sensor data and the state information related to the plurality of IoT devices, and display the candidate function providable by the at least one IoT device on the display.

Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a display, at least one communication circuit, a processor operatively connected to the display and the at least one communication circuit, and a memory operatively connected to the processor. The electronic device may receive user activity information including information of content, which is currently being played or has been previously played in the electronic device, from a content provider (CP) server through an internet of things (IoT) server when one or more external electronic devices are discovered and may display a first UI for recommending playing the content, which is being currently played or has been previously played in the electronic device, through at least one of the one or more external electronic devices on the display, based on the discovered one or more external electronic devices and the list of the external electronic device.
