Abstract: An image forming apparatus is provided. The image forming apparatus includes a master unit configured to detect a data capturing timing by using data information received with being synchronized with an arbitrary clock in response to a request for data information with respect to a slave unit and use the detected data capturing timing to capture data of the slave unit and a slave unit configured to provide the data information which is synchronized with an arbitrary clock in response to a request for data information from the master unit.
