Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a display for receiving a user's touch input and at least one processor electrically connected to the display. The at least one processor is configured to display, on the display in response to a first input, a first user interface (UI) component for distinguishing at least part of an entire display area of the display from the entire display area, and a second UI component for displaying a specific image of an area where the first UI component is located. The processor is further configured to determine a location of the second UI component displayed on the display, based on a location of the first input.
