Abstract: According to various embodiments, a method of operating a network may include: identifying a scheduling request message from an electronic device through at least one first resource, and the at least one first resource may include at least a portion of physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resources allocated to the electronic device; identifying a reception intensity of the scheduling request message in the at least one first resource; identifying at least one second resource allocated to the electronic device, based on the reception intensity, wherein the at least one second resource may be allocated for a PUSCH of the electronic; and transmitting downlink control information (DCI) including information for identifying the at least one second resource to the electronic device.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a memory storing instructions, a transceiver configured to receive base station data, and at least one processor configured to execute the instructions to: divide the base station data into a plurality of pieces of base station data according to a first time unit; generate first data of the first time unit by superimposing the plurality of pieces of base station data on each other; divide the first data of the first time unit into a plurality of second time intervals, according to a second time interval unit; calculate at least one probability density function for each second time interval of the plurality of second time intervals; generate at least one first representative data by using respective probability density functions of the plurality of second time intervals; and train the base station model, based on the at least one first representative data.

Abstract: An electronic device configured to adjust a state of an access network including at least one cell may include: at least one processor, and a memory connected to the at least one processor, wherein the at least one processor is configured to control the electronic device to: obtain state history information of the access network at a first time point, determine, based on the obtained state history information, a first time period required to adjust a state of the access network, determine, based on the first time point and the first time period, a second time point, the second time point being a reference time point at which the state of the access network is to be adjusted, estimate a state of the access network at the second time point based on the obtained state history information, determine values of state control parameters for adjusting the state of the access network, based on the estimated state of the access network at the second time point, and transmit the determined values of the state control parameters to the access network, wherein the values of the state control parameters transmitted to the access network are applied, at the second time point, to the state control parameters of the access network, to adjust the state of the access network.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method for operating a base station in a wireless communication system, and discloses a method and apparatus which: receive periodic uplink control information (UCI) from a terminal in a connected discontinuous reception (C-DRX) on state; predict reception power of a scheduling request (SR) message based on reception power of the periodic UCI; based on a base station receiving, in a C-DRX off state, the SR message from the terminal, measure the reception power of the SR message; based on the measured reception power of the SR message and the predicted reception power of the SR message, set a maximum number of retransmissions of an UL grant that may be transmitted by the base station; retransmit the UL grant by the base station in response to the received SR message; and based on identifying that the number of retransmissions of the UL grant reaching the maximum number of retransmissions of the UL grant, determine that the base station does not receive the SR message.

Abstract: An apparatus for measuring properties of a thermosetting polymer includes a body having a first chamber and a second chamber each filled with the thermosetting polymer material. A first FBG sensor is disposed in the polymer material within the first chamber and a second FBG sensor is disposed in the polymer material within the second chamber. A first dielectric constant sensor is in the first chamber, and a second dielectric constant sensor is in the second chamber. A computing device is configured to measure properties of the thermosetting polymer based on wavelength data measured using the first FBG sensor and the second FBG sensor, and a loss coefficient of the polymer material measured using the first dielectric constant sensor and the second dielectric constant sensor, while the thermosetting polymer solidifies in the first chamber and the second chamber.
