Abstract: An apparatus and method for providing physiological state information are provided. The apparatus includes a wearable electronic device. The wearable electronic device includes a sensor module configured to measure motion of the wearable electronic device, a display configured to provide a user interface (UI) including movable particles displayed on the display, and a processor configured to reduce the number of the displayed movable particles based on the measured motion of the wearable device.

Abstract: A portable apparatus and a method for displaying a screen in the portable apparatus are provided. The portable device includes a touch screen, a sensor configured to detect a biometric signal, and a processor configured to control for displaying, on the touch screen, biometric information having a trajectory along one of an hour hand and a minute hand. The biometric information is obtained based on or in relation to the biometric signal in response to a touch detected from the touch screen.
