Abstract: A system and a method for charging a mobile device in a vehicle are provided. A method, performed by an electronic device, for controlling a wireless charging device in a vehicle includes: identifying at least one mobile device in the vehicle; obtaining state information of the identified mobile device; obtaining state information of the vehicle; and controlling power of a plurality of wireless charging devices in the vehicle based on a state of the mobile device and a state of the vehicle.
