Abstract: An electronic device may include a subscriber identification module, a wireless communication circuit, and a processor, wherein the processor identifies information on a country where the electronic device is located, when the country where the electronic device is located is changed on the basis of the country where the electronic device is located, generates a PLMN list corresponding to the country where the electronic device is located, performs network search based on the PLMN list via the wireless communication circuit and when a cell of a PLMN included in the PLMN list is detected through the network search, performs registration in the detected cell via the wireless communication circuit.

Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes at least one processor connected to a first subscriber identity module (SIM) and a second SIM, and a memory that stores first information associated with a first quality of service (QoS) flow corresponding to the first SIM and second information associated with a second QoS flow corresponding to the second SIM, wherein the at least one processor is configured to identify characteristics of an application being executed by the electronic device, compare at least a portion of the first information and at least a portion of the second information, which are identified on the basis of the characteristics of the application, on the basis of the comparison result, select a SIM for transmitting/receiving data of the application from among the first SIM and the second SIM, and transmit a protocol data unit (PDU) session establishment request message for the application.

Abstract: A device and a method for reducing power consumption due to wireless communication in an electronic device are provided. The electronic device includes a sensor, a wireless communication circuit and a communication processor, wherein the communication processor can check a channel state while connected to a network through the wireless communication circuit, can check the movement state of a wearable device through the sensor if the channel state satisfies the specified condition related to network access restriction, can perform a cell search in a first period after a specified first time has elapsed if the wearable device is in a stationary state, and can perform a cell search in a second period that is relatively shorter than the first period if the wearable device is in a mobile state.
