    Abstract: A touch screen panel includes a touch substrate, first sensing electrodes, second sensing electrodes, and outer lines. The touch substrate includes a touch active area and a touch non-active area. The first and second sensing electrodes are disposed in the touch active area and insulated from each other while crossing each other. Each first sensing electrode includes a first sensing metal layer and a first transparent sensing electrode layer. Each second sensing electrode includes a second sensing metal layer and a second transparent sensing electrode layer. Each outer line includes a first outer metal layer, a transparent outer electrode layer, and a second outer metal layer.

    Abstract: A flexible display device including a display panel configured to display an image and including first and second bending areas configured to be bent along first and second folding axes, respectively, and a touch sensing unit disposed on the display panel. The touch sensing unit includes a base insulation layer, a first touch electrode part disposed on a first surface of the base insulation layer and overlapping the first bending area to detect an external input, and a second touch electrode part disposed on a second, opposing surface of the base insulation layer and overlapping the second bending area to detect an external input. A portion of the display panel is disposed between the first folding axis and the touch sensing unit, and a portion of the touch sensing unit is disposed between the second folding axis and the display panel, when the flexible display device is bent.

    Abstract: A method of manufacturing a touch panel, the method including forming electrode patterns; forming insulating patterns on the electrode patterns; forming a sacrificial layer on the electrode patterns and insulating patterns such that the sacrificial layer includes openings exposing portions of the insulating patterns; forming a conductive layer on the sacrificial layer and in each of the openings; and removing the sacrificial layer to form bridge patterns corresponding to the openings, wherein the sacrificial layer includes a first layer including first openings therein that expose portions of the insulating patterns; and a second layer including second openings therein that expose portions of the insulating patterns, the second layer having a thickness that is larger than a thickness of the first layer.
