Abstract: A display device includes a pixel circuit layer disposed on a substrate and including a pixel circuit, a pixel-defining layer disposed on the pixel circuit layer and including an opening, a first electrode disposed on the pixel circuit layer, disposed in the opening of the pixel-defining layer, and having a portion disposed on a side wall of the pixel-defining layer, a first common layer on the first electrode, an emission layer on the first common layer, a second common layer on the emission layer, and a second electrode on the second common layer, wherein an upper surface of the first common layer is at a higher level than an upper surface of the first electrode.
