Abstract: An electronic device includes a display panel, a data driving circuit, a scan driving circuit, and a signal control circuit that receives input data. The signal control circuit includes a histogram check unit that divides data of one frame among the input data into a plurality of regions based on a gray scale and calculates a distribution of the data based on the plurality of regions, a gray check unit that calculates the number of major grayscales having data of a specific number or more among the input data, an optical waveform analysis unit that generates a signal calculated based on an optical waveform of the plurality of pixels, and a frequency selection unit that selects a driving frequency of the display panel based on the distribution of the data, the number of the major grayscales, and the signal.

Abstract: A pixel includes a light-emitting element, a driving switching element and a noise switching element. The driving switching element applies a driving current to the light-emitting element. The noise switching element outputs a noise signal having a noise frequency to an input electrode of the driving switching element in response to a noise control signal. The noise frequency is equal to or greater than a driving frequency of the pixel. The noise signal having a periodicity is applied to the input electrode of the driving switching element of the pixel.
