Abstract: A display device includes a display panel including a plurality of pixels and a plurality of data lines, a source driving circuit that outputs a data signal, and a selection circuit disposed between the plurality of data lines and the source driving circuit that selectively connects the source driving circuit to some of the plurality of data lines. The source driving circuit includes a first latch that generates line image data, a second latch that receives the line image data from the first latch and outputs the line image data in response to a first latch control signal, and a third latch that receives the line image data from the second latch and outputs the line image data in response to a second latch control signal. The period of the first latch control signal is constant, and the period of the second latch control signal is variable.

Abstract: A display apparatus includes: a gamma reference voltage generator, a digital-to-analog converter, an amplifier and a bias voltage applier. The gamma reference voltage generator is configured to generate a gamma reference voltage. The digital-to-analog converter is configured to convert a data signal to a data voltage based on the gamma reference voltage. The amplifier is configured to receive the data voltage from the digital-to-analog converter and to output the data voltage to a data line. The bias voltage applier is configured to output a first bias voltage to the gamma reference voltage generator and to output a second bias voltage to the amplifier. The bias voltage applier is turned off while input image data have a black image.

Abstract: A data driving circuit of a display device is disclosed that includes a latch circuit to latch a data signal in response to a latch enable signal and to output a first signal, a level shifter to output a second signal obtained by changing a voltage level of the first signal, a digital-analog converter to output a third signal obtained by converting the second signal into an analog signal, an amplifier to output a fourth signal obtained by amplifying the third signal, a switch to output the fourth signal in a form of an image signal, in response to an output enable signal, and a signal generator to generate the latch enable signal and the output enable signal. The signal generator adjusts a start timing of the active duration of the latch enable signal, such that the active duration of the latch enable signal starts, after the inactive duration of the output enable signal starts.
