A display device includes: a substrate; an active pattern disposed on the substrate; an insulating layer disposed on the active pattern and defining an opening exposing a portion of the active pattern; a first conductive layer including a first conductive pattern, which is disposed on the insulating layer and contacts a side surface of the insulating layer defining the opening, and a second conductive pattern, which is disposed on the active pattern in the opening and is disconnected from the first conductive pattern; an organic layer pattern disposed in the opening, contacting the first conductive pattern and the second conductive pattern, and exposing a portion of the second conductive pattern; and a second conductive layer covering the organic layer pattern and a side surface of the first conductive pattern, and contacting the second conductive pattern.

A display device includes a display panel including a display area including a first area and a second area adjacent to the first area and a non-display area. The first area includes first pixels, the second area includes second pixels, the first pixels include a first-first pixel, a first-second pixel, and a first-third pixel, the second pixels include a second-first pixel, a second-second pixel, and a second-third pixel, each of the first-first to first-third pixels has an elliptical shape with a first eccentricity value, and each of the second-first to second-third pixels has an elliptical shape with a second eccentricity value.

A liquid crystal display device includes a curved first substrate and a curved second substrate. A liquid crystal layer is between the first curved substrate and the second curved substrate. A pixel electrode is on the first substrate. The pixel electrode includes a plurality of unit sub-pixel electrodes. A common electrode is on the second substrate. The common electrode has a planar shape. A connecting portion connects at least two of the plurality of unit sub-pixel electrodes to each other. A protrusion is disposed on the connecting portion.
