Abstract: A display device includes a first substrate, on which first to third sub-pixel areas spaced apart from each other and a non-emission area corresponding to a boundary of the first to third sub-pixel areas are defined, a display element layer including a light emitting element disposed in each of the first to third sub-pixel areas on the first substrate, and a color-filter layer disposed on the display element layer. The color-filter layer includes a base layer, a first color filter disposed on the base layer and corresponding to the first sub-pixel area, a second color filter disposed on the base layer and corresponding to the second sub-pixel area, a first planarization layer covering the first color filter and the second color filter, a third color filter disposed on the first planarization layer and corresponding to the third sub-pixel area, and a second planarization layer covering the third color filter.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing a display apparatus according to an embodiment includes: preparing a carrier substrate and forming a sacrificial layer on a top surface of the carrier substrate, where the sacrificial layer includes a cover area and an exposure area located on at least one side of the cover area; forming a first flexible material having a bottom surface in contact with the sacrificial layer on a top surface of the cover area of the sacrificial layer to expose the exposure area of the sacrificial layer; and removing the exposure area of the sacrificial layer.
