Abstract: A hand tool consisting of a flexible blade with a working edge is provided for use with a cementitious material to permit the forming and finishing of columns and other curved surfaces of relatively large radii. A pair of gripping surfaces are formed in the flexible blade, consisting of handles to which handgrips have been attached. To enhance the ability of the user to control the curvature of the working edge, the handgrips are attached to the handles in a manner such that a portion of the handgrip overlies and is supported by the outer, lateral portion of the handle. Such an arrangement permits the user to apply force through the handgrips directly to the outer periphery of the flexible blade.
