Abstract: A thrust reverser for an aircraft propulsion assembly, this reverser including an outer structure movable between a closed position and an open position of two primary latches configured to lock the movable outer structure in the closed position. The movable outer structure includes an output end that is oblique with respect to the longitudinal central axis so as to orient the thrust laterally. In order to compensate the tilting moment of the movable outer structure, which results from this lateral orientation of the thrust, the primary latches are offset with respect to a median longitudinal plane passing through the longitudinal central axis of the reverser.

Abstract: A lock for a cowl of a thrust reverser borne by a nacelle includes a striker fixed on the cowl, a hook that is configured to engage the striker and is elastically returned towards engagement with the striker, and a support fixed on the nacelle and supporting a locking/unlocking component interposed between the hook and the support. The locking/unlocking component is configured to allow, on the one hand, the hook to move in relation to the support between a locking position, in which the hook is engaged with the striker and exerts a pressure thereon, and a unlocking position, in which the hook is disengaged from the striker or is simply in contact therewith, and to allow, on the other hand, the hook to tilt in order to disengage it from the striker or engage it therein.

Abstract: A pod for a turbojet engine includes an outer cowl having a structure with at least one opening and a panel pivotably mounted about an axis between a closed position and an open position, and a system for actuating the panel designed to lock the panel in closed position and to move same between the closed position and the open position thereof. The actuation system includes a lateral connecting rod connected to the panel and to the structure, pivoting relative to the structure about a first pivoting axis and about a second pivoting axis, and a linear actuator attached to the lateral connecting rod. The actuator system is designed to move the lateral connecting rod during the extension of the actuator, and the lateral connecting rod exerts a force on the panel during the movement thereof, pivoting the panel about the axis thereof.
