Abstract: A food mixer having speed control means including a first switch having a series of speed positions and a switch lever movable in the mixer handle forwardly and rearwardly thereof and a second momentary switch adapted when actuated to provide an increase in speed and torque in any speed position of the first switch with the second switch lever being pivotally mounted on the mixer handle for convenient actuation independently of the first switch lever.
