    摘要: A tire (1) for a motorcycle comprises a tread portion (2) comprising main grooves (3) and narrow grooves (4). The main grooves (3) include first main grooves (5) and second main grooves (6) arranged on an axially outer side of the first main grooves (5). The narrow grooves (4) include open narrow grooves (7) and semi-open narrow grooves (8). Each of the open narrow grooves (7) is arranged such that one end (7a) is substantially connected with respective first main groove (5) and the other end (7b) is substantially connected with respective second main grooves (6). A first end (8a) of each of the semi-open narrow grooves (8) is substantially connected with one of the first main grooves (5) or the second main grooves (6). A second end (8b) of each of the semi-open narrow grooves (8) terminates on a ground contacting surface (2a) of the tread portion (2).

    摘要: A motorcycle tire includes a tread portion, sidewall portions, bead portions each with a bead core therein, a carcass, and a tread reinforcing layer arranged radially outwardly of the carcass and includes a belt layer and a band layer. The belt layer includes an inner belt ply and an outer belt ply. The band layer includes a band ply arranged between the inner and outer belt plies. The inner belt ply includes belt cords oriented at an angle greater than 5 degrees to the tire circumferential direction and a first development width. The outer belt ply includes belt cords oriented at an angle greater than 5 degrees to the tire circumferential direction and a second development width. The band ply includes band cords oriented at an angle not more than 5 degrees to the tire circumferential direction. The second development width is greater than the first development width.

    摘要: A motorcycle tire including a tire structure having a tread having outer surface curved in arc shape such that the outer surface is protruding toward radially outer side of the structure. The tread includes a center region and shoulder regions on sides of the center region, respectively, the center region is spanning 30% of a developed tread width with tire equator at the center of the center region, the tread has main grooves positioned at interval in tire circumferential direction and shoulder sub-grooves positioned in each shoulder region, each main groove is formed in V shape such that the V shape has a pair of inclined portions respectively extending from the tip in the center region toward the shoulder regions in tire rotation direction, and the sub-grooves are formed such that each sub-groove is extending in the circumferential direction and connected to one inclined portion without connecting adjacent main grooves.
