Abstract: Provided is an information processing device capable of operating in accessibility mode of guaranteeing browsing corresponding to disability or functional degeneration of a body of an operator. A source device checks whether each sink device is in accessibility mode at the time of connection, and determines whether or not metadata for supporting disability (for example, audios, videos, texts, vibration information, or the like) is added to the sink device in the accessibility mode at the time of transmission of original image/audio data. The source device changes a metadata transmission method in accordance with whether the accessibility mode of each sink device is turned on or off.

Abstract: Provided is a configuration that permits confirmation of emergency information viewing results on a reception apparatus, an endpoint of emergency information such as TV. A data processing section of a reception apparatus such as TV that receives and outputs emergency information generates an emergency information viewing result report that contains a record of emergency information viewing result information and sends the generated emergency information viewing result report to a management server and so on. The data processing section generates an emergency information viewing result report that contains a record of an identifier of emergency information output by the reception apparatus and emergency information output time information in accordance with a CDM (Consumption Data Message) format. The CDM keeps a record of not only emergency information output time information but also reception apparatus position information, emergency information sender information, and so on.

Abstract: A reception apparatus is provided that includes circuitry configured to receive a digital data stream. The circuitry is configured to acquire closed caption information included in the digital data stream. The circuitry is configured to acquire control information including selection information indicating a selection of a specific mode from a plurality of modes for specifying when closed caption text is to be displayed. The circuitry is further configured to output the closed caption text included in the closed caption information for display to a user, at a display time according to the specific mode, based on the selection information included in the control information.
