Abstract: There is provided an information processing apparatus, an information processing method, and a program that are capable of issuing a notice for prompting schedule registration at a timing suitable for the user. The information processing apparatus includes an event recommendation control unit configured to predict, on the basis of a behavior history of the user, occurrence of an event in future, the event recommendation control unit being configured to determine a notice timing for prompting schedule registration of the predicted event, in consideration of a preparation period of time of the user for the predicted event.
