    摘要: A pigment printing ink jet ink composition according to one embodiment of the present disclosure includes a self-dispersible black pigment having a specific surface area of 50 m2/g or more calculated from a measurement by a pulse NMR at 30° C., a metal alkali, a water-soluble organic solvent, and water, and in the ink composition described above, a content of the self-dispersible black pigment with respect to a content of the metal alkali is 13 to 40 in terms of a composition ratio, the water-soluble organic solvent includes a compound having an SP value of 11 or more, and the water-soluble organic solvent includes no compound having an SP value of less than 11 at a content of more than 0.3 percent by mass with respect to a total mass of the ink composition.
