Abstract: An air conditioner having an improved assembly structure of panels includes a lower panel located at a bottom surface thereof, an upper panel located at an upper surface thereof, front and rear panels located at front and rear surfaces thereof, and side panels to couple the front and rear panels. One side of each of the lower panel and at least one panel is provided with a protrusion and the other side thereof is provided with a coupling groove, so that the lower panel is coupled to at least one of the front panel and the side panels by coupling of the protrusion and the coupling groove. It may be possible to provide an air conditioner capable of reducing the number of fastening members coupled to respective panels and being free from restraint of an installation space.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a control box and to an outdoor unit of an air conditioner comprising the same; the control box using a refrigerant cooling device and an air cooling device so as to radiate heat efficiently. The control box comprises: a case; a heat-radiating electronic component located inside the case; a refrigerant cooling device which is attached to one side of the case and makes contact with the electronic component so as to radiate heat to the outside; and an air cooling device which is attached to one side of the case and has a circulation fan for forcible circulating the air inside the case. Because the present invention is provided both with the refrigerant cooling device and the air cooling device, the electronic component inside the control box can radiate heat efficiently.

Abstract: A cooling device for an electronic machine includes an airflow channel through which external air passes, an air inlet duct through which external air is introduced and which is disposed at an upper front surface of the airflow channel and extends perpendicularly to the airflow channel, a blower fan disposed in the air inlet duct to draw in external air through the air inlet duct, an air outlet duct disposed at a lower portion of the airflow channel to discharge air from the airflow channel, and a heat-radiating unit disposed to the rear of a circuit board mounted with electronic components on a front surface thereof to absorb heat from the circuit board. The heat-radiating unit is located, apart from the blower fan, in the airflow channel. Through the improved cooling airflow structure, cooling efficiency is increased, noise is reduced and continuous cooling operation is achieved.
