    Abstract: An electronic device includes a first housing; a second housing configured to be sliding relative to the first housing; a flexible display, wherein at least part of the flexible display is supported by the second housing and a size of the flexible display viewable from a front surface of the electronic device changes in accordance with a sliding of the second housing; a guide member configured to operatively connect at least part of the first housing and at least part of the second housing for the sliding of the second housing; and a conductive layer disposed between a portion of the second housing and the flexible display, wherein the second housing includes a first support portion supporting a first portion of the flexible display; and a second support portion supporting a second portion of the flexible display and allowing the second portion of the flexible display to be bent, and wherein the conductive layer is configured to electrically connect at least a part of the flexible display and the second support portion.

    Abstract: According to an embodiment of the disclosure, an electronic device, comprising, a housing, a flexible display slidably coupled to the housing, and at least one processor configured to control the flexible display to display an execution screen of a first application on a first region of the flexible display which is exposed to an outside based on a first mode, detect a pull-out of the flexible display from the housing, and in response to detecting the pull-out of the flexible display, control the flexible display to display the execution screen of the first application on at least a portion of the first region, and control the flexible display to display an execution screen of a second application different from the first application on at least another portion of the first region and a second region of the flexible display which is exposed to the outside by the pull-out.

    Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes at least one hinge module providing at least one folding axis, a first housing coupled with the hinge module to rotate around the folding axis, a second housing coupled with the hinge module to rotate around the folding axis, and rotating with respect to the first housing, between a first position at which the second housing is folded, facing the first housing and a second position at which the second housing is unfolded at a specified angle from the first position, a first battery provided in the first housing, a first circuit board including a first arrangement area disposed in parallel to the first battery at least partially along a direction parallel to the folding axis, and a second arrangement area extending from the first arrangement area and disposed between the folding axis and the battery, and at least one flexible printed circuit board (FPCB) extending from the interior of the first housing to the interior of the second housing across the folding axis. Inside the first housing, one end portion of the FPCB is connected to the second arrangement area, between the folding axis and the first battery, and a part of the FPCB is disposed between the first battery and the second arrangement area.

    Abstract: A foldable electronic device includes: a display panel including a pixel array, a first region, a second region, and a folding region interposed between the first region and the second region, a plurality of gate lines connected with respective gates of a plurality of transistors included in the pixel array and extending in a first direction, a plurality of data lines connected with respective sources of the plurality of transistors and extending in a second direction crossing the first direction, a gate driving circuit connected with the plurality of gate lines, a display driver integrated circuit (DDI) connected with the plurality of data lines, a first detection line connecting a first gate line of the plurality of gate lines corresponding to the folding region with the DDI, a processor, and a memory operatively connected with the processor. The foldable electronic device is configured to be folded as the folding region is bent such that the first region corresponds to the second region, the DDI is configured to detect a first gate driving voltage applied to the first gate line by the gate driving circuit using the first detection line, and to transmit, to the processor, defect information indicating that the folding region is defective based on the first gate driving voltage being less than a reference voltage, and the memory stores instructions which when executed, cause the processor to: receive the defect information from the DDI, identify at least a portion of the folding region and/or the second region, based on the defect information as a defective region, and control the display panel to display an execution screen on the first region based on the identified defective region.
