Abstract: Provided is a method, performed by a device, of processing an image, the method including tracking a movement of a user wearing the device and generating movement information of the user, the movement information being about a movement occurring between a previous time when a first image was rendered and a current time when a second image is rendered; selecting at least one pixel from among a plurality of pixels comprised in the first image, based on the generated movement information and a location of a target pixel comprised in the second image; and changing a value of the target pixel by blending a value of the selected at least one pixel with the value of the target pixel according to a preset weight.
