Abstract: A display apparatus includes: a first sub-pixel, a second sub-pixel, and a third sub-pixel, which emit light of different colors from one another; light-emitting diodes corresponding to the first sub-pixel, the second sub-pixel, and the third sub-pixel, respectively; a functional layer arranged in a light-emitting direction of the light-emitting diodes and including a first quantum dot layer corresponding to an emission area of the first sub-pixel and a second quantum dot layer corresponding to an emission area of the second sub-pixel; and a light absorption layer disposed between the light-emitting diodes and the functional layer. At least a portion of the light absorption layer is disposed between the light-emitting diode corresponding to the first sub-pixel and the first quantum dot layer, the first sub-pixel is a red sub-pixel, and the light absorption layer includes a pigment or a dye absorbing red light.
