Abstract: A dye according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes a compound represented by the following Chemical Formula 1. In Chemical Formula 1, R1, R4, R5, R8, R9, R12, R13, and R16 are each independently Br or Cl, R2, R3, R6, R7, R10, R11, R14, and R15 are each independently any one of a group including Br, Cl, and a hydroxyl group, a group including an —N(H)n group, and a group including an —SH group, n is 1 to 3, and at least one of the R2, R3, R6, R7, R10, R11, R14, and R15 is any one of a group including a hydroxyl group, a group including an —N(II)n group, and a group including an —SH group.
