The silicone article includes a silicone composition, the silicone composition including a silicone matrix component, a fumed silica filler; and a vinyl-terminated silicone polymer having a viscosity of about 500 centipoise to about 5000 centipoise, wherein the silicone article has a turbidity of less than about 0.3 nephelometric turbidity units (NTU). The disclosure is further directed to a tube and to a method of forming the article.
