Abstract:
A firearm frame includes a blocking member disposed adjacent to the trigger guard and configured to block the trigger from firing, an electromechanical actuator configured to actuate the blocking member, a power source configured to power the actuator, and electronics configured to receive remote signals and control the actuator. A system for providing firearm security to a premise includes the firearm frame.
Abstract:
A security system that includes a camera, a monitor, and a storage compartment for a defensive instrument installed in a room in a building. The storage compartment is associated with a camera that can record video and audio of occurrences or happenings in the room. The storage compartment is configured to communicate with a mobile device via a communications protocol and is electronically associated with at least two activation mechanisms: one that is activated for non-emergency situations, and another that is active for emergency situations. In both cases, the camera is direct to record video and audio of the situation, but in the emergency situation, the camera transmits the video and audio to other parts of the building to provide individuals located therein with real time information regarding the emergency situation. The second activation mechanism further provides access to a defensive instrument that is located in the storage compartment.
Abstract:
Devices for securing and retaining firearms that include either a lockable firearm cabinet or a firearm securement system. The cabinet includes a receptacle; a locking device and locking mechanism; a spring for biasing the locking mechanism in the locked position; and a bar for overriding the locking mechanism. The securement system includes a wall mounted plate for securing a firearm thereto; a release mechanism that allows the firearm to be removed and electronics for wirelessly communicating with a computer and the firearm to provide information regarding removal of the firearm or firearm cartridge from the wall mounted plate.

Abstract:
A tremolo and tuning apparatus for a stringed musical instrument. The stringed musical instrument includes a body and a neck, a plurality of strings extending from the body to the neck, a nut for supporting the strings on the neck forming a first critical point for each string, a bridge element for supporting the strings on the body forming a second critical point for each string. The apparatus includes a tremolo and tuning apparatus having a one-piece saddle configured to hold unmodified strings which include the ball end uncut. The tremolo and tuning apparatus also includes a plurality of tuner rods disposed atop each string and separate from the saddle. These tuner rods are configured to fine tune each string by a user pressing downward on each tuner rod as needed to tune each string of the stringed musical instrument rather than pulling and releasing tension in each string.
