Abstract:
A method and a device for preparing a drink glass with a salt-coated rim in which juice from a lime or lemon is deposited in an open-topped recess formed in the top of a lid for a wide-mouthed salt container, and the drink glass is inverted down onto the lid to have its rim wetted by the juice before being dipped into salt in the container.
Abstract:
A multiple spout pitcher which allows selectively pouring a beverage alone or the beverage and ice contained therein. The pitcher includes a bottom wall and upwardly dependent side wall which terminates at an open upper rim. A handle extends outwardly from the side wall to facilitate picking up the pitcher container by hand. An ice restricting spout is formed outwardly from the side wall at the upper rim opposite the handle. The ice restricting spout includes a pair of opposing inwardly extending restrictor flaps to hold the ice back without unduly restricting the flow of beverage while pouring. A larger and wider ice passing spout is formed outwardly from the side wall at the upper rim between the handle and the ice restricting spout which allows the ice as well as the beverage to pour. The pitcher may be constructed with the ice passing spout disposed to the left or the right of the handle as desired for use by right-handed or left-handed persons. A second ice passing spout may be included to facilitate use by both right-handed and left-handed persons.
Abstract:
The package comprises a container made of resilient molded plastic that contains an impression and lid. The impression is located in the bottom of the container. The impression comprises two concentric cylindrically shaped tubes, a ring that connects the tubes and a closure. The lower tube has a larger diameter. This lower tube is attached to a ring along the ring's outside edge. The inner edge of the ring is attached to the upper, smaller-diameter tube. The tubes are identical to the diameters of two sizes of bottle caps. Bottles with caps can then be inserted into the tube. The invention then holds the container on top of the bottle. The lid of the container is removable and reattachable and forms an air-tight seal.
