摘要： A vehicular storage unit transit system (20) is provided for joining a storage unit (32) to a vehicle (30) possessing a cargo area (28) having a forward end (38), an access end (42), a pair of opposing sidewalls (46), and a floor (50) with a pair of wheelwells (56) protruding thereabove between the sidewalls (46). A pair of transit assemblies (22) couple the storage unit (32) to a pair of guidance assemblies (24). A first section (76) of each guidance assembly (24) sustains the storage unit (32) in a first position (36) proximate the forward end (38) and in a first attitude (54) substantially parallel to the floor (50). A second section (82) of each guidance assembly (24) sustains the storage unit (32) in a second position (40) proximate the access end (42) and in a second attitude (66) oblique to the floor (50).

摘要： A hydraulic floor jack with an integrated support is disclosed. The floor jack can be used with the floor jack oriented in any orientation relative to the orientation of a vehicle to be raised. The support remains suspended above the ground allowing the floor jack to roll along the ground while the vehicle is being raised. The support is then biased firmly on the ground, under weight of the vehicle, while the vehicle is suspended. A method of use of a hydraulic floor jack is also disclosed.

摘要： A support assembly includes a frame, a first ratchet, a second ratchet, a lift structure, a bridge member, and a saddle. Each of the first and second ratchets includes a linear rack attached to first and second side members of the frame, and a slide structure slideably mounted with one of the side members. Each slide structure includes a pawl that successively engages with teeth in the linear rack as the lift structure of the support assembly is extended upwardly and as the slide structure slides along the linear rack. The support assembly may be a jack stand that is co-located with a vehicle jack. A head of the vehicle jack pushes against a bottom surface of the bridge member of the jack stand to cause the lift structure to extend upwardly and the ratchet systems to engage in a locked position to hold a vehicle in a raised position.
