    摘要： A modified follower in a two column cartridge magazine for a bolt action firearm. An upstanding rib, which extends upwardly and outwardly from the top of the follower to engage the frame of the firearm to limit upward movement of the follower towards said bolt so that the bolt, when reciprocated, does not engage the top of the follower when the magazine is empty of cartridges.
