Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an internally plasticized polyvinyl chloride resin and a process for preparation thereof. The internally plasticized polyvinyl chloride resin comprises a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resin covalently bonded to at least one plasticizer. The process is simple and economical and provides internally plasticized PVC with enhanced flexibility, and improved characteristics than conventional PVC resin.
