Abstract: A transmission line circuit provides broadband trapatt diode amplification. The circuit includes a plurality of constituent length pair combinations of substantially quarter-wavelength shorted and non-shorted transmission line sections which extend from a point of a common transmission line section across which the trapatt diode is shunt connected.
