Abstract: A wireless network is utilized to deliver non-real-time information to subscribers during periods when the network utilization for real-time information is low. A data delivery server contains information for delivery to wireless receivers/transceivers. An internetworking function element receives the information from the data delivery server and delivers the information at a time determined to reduce the impact of information delivery on the wireless distribution system. This may be at preset times such as during evening or early morning hours or may be at times when measured network loads are low.

Abstract: The use of spread spectrum signaling distributed through a building ventilation system provides an effective and inexpensive communication system. The ventilation system is disposed within the building to move air throughout at least a portion of the building. An access point relays signals to a telecommunications system outside of the building. At least one antenna in communication with the access point is disposed within the ventilation system. Each antenna transmits and receives spread spectrum signals through the ventilation system.

Abstract: Wireless telecommunications is inhibited within a limited region by generating a noise signal within a frequency range of the wireless telecommunications and broadcasting the noise signal into the limited region. A system for inhibiting wireless communications includes a radio frequency noise generator generating a noise signal within a frequency range of the wireless telecommunication. At least one antenna broadcasts the noise signal into the region. Control logic initiates or suspends broadcasting of the noise signal based on at least one control input.
