Abstract:
A lighting fixture includes a reflector reflecting light from a fluorescent lamp to a desired direction, and one or more lamp connectors connecting the reflector to rotatably and detachably coupling with the fluorescent lamp, wherein the reflector is adapted to selectively rotate with respect to an axis of the fluorescent lamp for reflecting light from the fluorescent lamp so as to change a light pattern of the fluorescent lamp towards an opening of the foldable housing. The foldable housing includes two side frames and a retention frame extended between the two side frames to retain a distance therebetween, wherein the side frames are pivotally coupled with the retention frame to fold between an unfolded position to retain the fluorescent lamp in longitudinal position and a folded position to form a compact size for storage and transportation.
Abstract:
A high performance fluorescent lamp includes an air-tight glass envelop having sealed ends and a light cavity filled with inert gas and coated with a phosphor powder at an inner wall of the glass envelop. Two filaments are sealed at the sealed ends of the glass envelop respectively. A channel is formed at one of the sealed ends of the glass envelop at a location communicating with the light cavity of the glass envelop. An amalgam is retained within the channel at a position forming a preset distance between the respective filament and the amalgam. Therefore, the fluorescent lamp can be operated under different ambient temperature or different wattage of the fluorescent lamp with the similar type of amalgam by controlling a distance between the amalgam and the respective filament.
Abstract:
A LED tube luminaire for growing plants in greenhouse and indoor horticulture comprising individual LEDs on a substrate with higher linear density, no focusing optics on LED, a glass tube, the end cups, electronics, and electrical contactors. The LED tube luminaire has high light intensity, random direction white light with different color temperature for grow and bloom. An LED grow light has a substrate mounted within a glass tube. A linear array of LED chips is mounted on the substrate and aligned in a single line and comprising a plurality of LED chips. The plurality of LED chips has a regular spacing of less than 15 mm on center. The linear array of LED chips has a single color temperature having greater than 80 color rendering index. A pair of terminals mounted on ends of the glass tube. The pair of terminals are not symmetrical.

Abstract:
An electronic drive for fluorescent lamps that includes a feedback loop arrangement where a lumen or intensity setting is compared to the lamp current and the frequency of an inverter is changed to bring the lumen output of the lamp to a level that matches the setting. The bandwidth of the feedback loop is great enough such that the time delay around the feedback loop is faster than prior art designs, and is preferably about 50 microseconds. This fast feedback loop provides the advantage that fluorescent lamps, and especially the more non-linear fluorescent lamps, can to be dimmed down to 10-30% of normal full scale lumen output without extinguishing. The faster feedback loop also prevents flicker when as the lamp is dimmed.

A high performance fluorescent lamp includes an air-vacuum glass envelope having sealed ends, and a light cavity filled with inert gas and coated with a phosphor layer at an inner wall of said light cavity; two electrodes sealed at each of the sealed ends of the glass envelope; and a narrowing channel integrally formed at one of the sealed ends of the glass envelope at a location communicating with the light cavity of the glass envelope. Therefore, the amalgam is contained within the narrowing channel at a position forming a preset distance between one of the electrodes sealed at the corresponding sealed end and the amalgam.
