Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a central device may receive, from a peripheral device, a probe request in a first extended personal area network (XPAN) time window. The central device may transmit, to the peripheral device in the first XPAN time window, a probe response with a target wake time that indicates XPAN time windows during which communications with the central device are allowed.
