Abstract: A method for controlling processing performance by an electronic device is described. The method includes determining a processing performance requirement based on a time difference between a response requirement based on an application type and a network delay. The method also includes determining a processing performance mode based on the processing performance requirement and a processing efficiency profile. The method further comprises operating a processor based on the processing performance mode.
