Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a base station, a beam measurement report associated with a serving beam of the UE. The UE may determine that a timer, relative to transmission of the beam measurement report, has expired. The UE may perform a measurement of one or more neighbor beams based at least in part on determining that the timer has expired. Numerous other aspects are provided.
