Abstract: Aspects of mitigating throughput degradation during wireless communication include determining that a first transmission signal fails decoding at a network entity due to transmit (TX) blanking when a user equipment (UE) supports dual subscriber identity module dual active (DSDA) and is operating in hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) with incremental redundancy; determining whether a first retransmission signal for the first transmission signal fails decoding at the network entity; and retransmitting the first transmission signal as a new transmission signal when a determination is made that the first retransmission signal for the first transmission signal fails decoding at the network entity.

Abstract: Aspects related to allocating transmission power in wireless communications are described. It can be determined whether data is to be transmitted on an uplink control channel in one or more upcoming transmission time intervals (TTIs). Based on this determination, transmission power is allocated to an uplink enhanced dedicated channel in the one or more upcoming TTIs. Where uplink control channel data is not to be transmitted in the one or more upcoming TTIs, transmission power that would have been used for the uplink control channels can instead be allocated to the enhanced dedicated channel.
