Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a network node may transmit, to an open radio access network distributed unit (O-DU) associated with the network node, a grant that permits use of a shared spectrum resource, the grant indicating a first cryptographic checksum for a given timeslot in which the shared spectrum resource is granted. The network node may receive, from the O-DU, a transmission that includes a second cryptographic checksum. The network node may transmit the transmission via the shared spectrum resource based at least in part on an authentication of the transmission, the authentication involving the grant being accepted by the open radio access network radio unit (O-RU) based at least in part on a verification that the second cryptographic checksum corresponds to the first cryptographic checksum. In some aspects, a radio unit (RU) may receive, from a distributed unit (DU), a control plane message associated with a section type that is dedicated for slot level configuration information. The control plane message may include a common section header that identifies a group of one or more endpoints, and one or more section type commands that include information associated with a slot level common configuration for the group of one or more endpoints. The RU may perform at least one of radio frequency configuration or time domain beamforming for the group of one or more endpoints based at least in part on the information included in the one or more section type commands. Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for physical resource block allocation alignment. An example method, performed at a first network entity, includes transmitting beamforming weights (BFWs) to a second network entity, each beamforming weight to be applied to a different bundle of one or more physical resource blocks (PRBs), transmitting, to the second network entity, one or more parameters indicative of a misalignment between an allocation of PRBs and at least one logical structure, and processing signals transmitted between the first and second network entities, with beamforming applied to PRB bundles using the BFWs, in accordance with the one or more parameters.
