Abstract: A vehicle monitoring apparatus includes a hardware processor functioning as an image acquisition unit, an abnormality information acquisition unit, a damage determination unit, and a damage reporting unit. The image acquisition unit serves to acquire a captured image including an image representation of an exterior of a vehicle body of a vehicle. The abnormality information acquisition unit serves to acquire vehicle-body abnormality information indicating an abnormality in the vehicle body. The damage determination unit serves to determine presence or absence of damage to the vehicle body on the basis of the captured image and the vehicle-body abnormality information. The damage reporting unit serves to report, to an information processing apparatus, a damage report including the captured image or an image generated on the basis of the captured image. The damage report is reported in accordance with on a result of the determination on the damage.

Abstract: A vehicle display control device is configured to perform operations including: performing processing for hindering visual recognition of an occupant of a vehicle on a captured image captured by an image-capturing device; generating a display image; acquiring information indicating a state of the vehicle and information regarding a surrounding environment of the vehicle; and determining whether the vehicle is in a first condition. In a case where it is determined that the vehicle is in the first condition, a display image obtained by prohibiting application of the processing to the captured image or by reducing an application degree of the processing is generated, and is displayed by the display device.

Abstract: When a gearshift of a vehicle is in drive, a video image of a movement state of the vehicle moving forward depending on the rotation of the wheels detected by a wheel rotation sensor is displayed on a monitor. Thereafter, when the gearshift is in neutral, a video image of a movement state of the vehicle moving forward depending on the rotation of the wheels is displayed on the monitor. When the gearshift is in rear where the vehicle moves in a second direction opposite to a first direction, a video image of a movement state of the vehicle moving in the second direction depending on the rotation of the wheels is displayed on the monitor. Thereafter, when the gearshift is in neutral, a video image of a movement state of the vehicle moving in the second direction depending on the rotation of the wheels is displayed on the monitor.
