Abstract: An online coaching method includes: acquiring workout log data representing progress of workout carried out by a trainee who receives coaching for workout from a trainer; acquiring transmission status data representing a status of message transmission using a communication screen from the trainee to the trainer; and controlling permission and prohibition of message transmission from the trainee to the trainer on the communication screen based on the workout log data and the transmission status data.
