Abstract: In a gate pass management system, a first reception unit having a first reception range receives a first RF signal including identification information of a mobile device. In the gate pass management system, a second reception unit having a second reception range, defined to be a range located closer to a predetermined area than the first reception range is, receives a second RF signal. In the gate pass management system, when the second RF signal is received after the first RF signal has been received, a decision is made that the mobile device be currently located within the second reception range.

Abstract: A control system includes a communications unit, an acquisition unit, and an output unit. The communications unit communicates with a transmitter that transmits a wireless signal. The acquisition unit acquires location information about a location of the transmitter based on the wireless signal that has been transmitted from the transmitter and received by the communications unit. The output unit has an instruction signal including adjustment information transmitted, in accordance with the location information acquired by the acquisition unit, from the communications unit to the transmitter. The adjustment information is used to vary at least one of a time interval at which the transmitter transmits the wireless signal or transmission power with which the transmitter transmits the wireless signal.

Abstract: An information output system includes a reception device and a processor. The reception device receives, via wireless communication, identification information or association information from at least one communications terminal to which the identification information is assigned. The association information is information about controllability of a target device associated with a target area where a person who carries the at least one communications terminal with him or her is currently present and is correlated to the identification information. The processor acquires the association information by reference to the information received at the reception device and outputs authorization information based on the association information. The authorization information is information used for enabling authorized control of the target device.

Abstract: An area determination system includes a decision unit, a calculation unit, and a determination unit. The decision unit decides, based on a strength of a radio signal transmitted from a transmitter and received by a receiver, a location of the transmitter. The calculation unit calculates a presence determination value. The presence determination value is based on a number of times that the location of the transmitter is determined to be in a presence determination region during a presence determination time period. The presence determination region corresponds to a target area. The determination unit, when a presence condition is satisfied, determine that the transmitter is in the target area. The presence condition is that a state where the presence determination value is greater than or equal to a presence threshold continues for a presence determination time.
